NICKO NOGUÉS & FRIENDS
Concept
Social networking sites are used to express ourselves, and so is art. Combining them was the right thing to do.
"Estados de Nicko Nogues" ("Nicko Nogues's States") is what I call
'InFeisbukArt', an exhibition that was born in a virtual and collaborative way by using my Facebook updates and the possibilities that this platform offers as both part of the concept and starting point of those personal definitions presented as
"Estados" and reinterpreted by the talent of my friends.
As the creative couple Spanish Tito Muñoz: "Hopefully the talents were still legal tender. No doubt my friend would be a millionaire Nicko Nogués".
You can also join this experiment:
Log in to Facebook, search for "Estados de Nicko Nogues" , add it as a friend and choose a "Estado". Then just jazz it up as you like (with a picture, illustration, audiovisual piece, song, poem, short or long story, etc.) and send it to me on estadosdenickonogues@gmail.com.
Or even better: Drop by at Galeria Niu Art in Barcelona on 15th January, choose your "Estado" and jazz it up right on the spot.
